Healing The Past is a dramedy about love and forgiveness,
ambition and revenge, honor and innocence, in a small town in Western Anatolia, where the sun shines the whole
year round and life has its own slow rhythm.

Under a blue collar disguise, Samiye, and her son Ismail drive into Haskoy, a quaint town in rural Turkey, and purchase hundreds of acres of land. Soon, the whole town is abuzz with rumors,
which reach the ears of the Mayor Refik.

They discover that Samiye is the president of a big conglomerate
and Mayor Refik’s first love. In order to close the deal she needs
his approval, but will he give it? And why did she really come back?
The plot thickens when Samiye's son and Refik's daughter
gradually fall in love...
